Dear Member

We have now received further guidance from the LTA on how the Club can run with the new Tier 4 restrictions.

Latest LTA rules

Singles tennis and tennis for members of the same household or support bubble is permitted. One on one coaching can also continue, as can group coaching for under 18’s. As a Club we have taken the decision to cancel the remaining group sessions for this term. We plan to resume next term, in line with LTA guidance, and the coaching team will be in contact nearer the time to confirm details.

The Kent LTA have also informed us that travel restrictions in or out of Tier 4 areas remain in place, other than for coaching for under 18’s. As a result you should not travel between neighbouring Tier 4 areas even if they share a border. This means that those members living in the Tier 4 areas of Hastings and Rother cannot play at the Club at this time.

We have been told the toilets and changing room facilities should be closed. We will therefore be closing the clubhouse from today onwards. Those in need of floodlight tokens should contact Nicola via email and make arrangements with her to collect them. As the office is closed please try and order as many as you think you will need over the Christmas\New Year period.

Updates continue to come through from the LTA and we will try and communicate any changes to you as quick as possible. Please bear in mind that our team, like many others, have taken holiday over the Christmas/New Year period and the Committee is comprised of volunteers who also have other commitments and plans over this holiday period. Therefore it may take longer to respond to any queries you may have at this time.

Thank you and Best Wishes
