Tunbridge Wells Lawn Tennis Club has a thriving junior coaching programme with over 280 players receiving first class coaching each week.
Our Junior Coaching is divided into four specific age groups: Mini Tennis Red (3-8 years), Mini Tennis Orange (9 years and under), Mini Tennis Green (10 years and under) and Junior Tennis (11-18 years).
|Each age group uses a different colour ball, a different size court and a different size racket. The group lesson courses enable juniors to learn all the techniques and tactics needed to improve their game in addition to learning the rules of tennis.|
TWLTC offers a very popular and lively adult coaching programme catering for all abilities from absolute beginner to advanced players.
TWLTC has now implemented a “Buddy Hitting” programme. This gives players the opportunity to have additional hitting time with a more experienced player at a reduced cost.
Our buddy hitters are trained LTA coaches and they are there to provide more practice time for juniors and many work alongside the main coaches to help in the development of the player. It is a fantastic opportunity for any standard of players and is available throughout the week at the club.
Individual tennis lessons are often crucial for a player’s development in tennis, allowing the pupil to choose the area of focus and work at their own pace. TWLTC has a great coaching team with four experienced coaches available for coaching throughout the week.
