Thanks to all who joined in the fun at the St Valentine’s Day ‘Blind Date’ Mix-in, including new members Alex and Thomas who ended up playing Singles. Love was definitely in the air (and in the Bar afterwards), especially for outright winners Tim and Lorinda. Congratulations to the happy couple!
What a scream everyone had celebrating Burn’s night. Such a lovely event to be part of and hats off to Mr Tim Shilton who did an amazing job ensuring it was a successful evening.

I am pleased to share two fantastic results for another TWLTC junior member. Abby Tennent won the U14 grade 5 tournament at Storrington on Sunday 23rd October and won the U12 grade 4 tournament in Seaford today, 24th October. A great achievement for one of junior tennis players.

In the Play Your Way to Wimbledon event on Saturday the final was between Nate De Mariveles and Xavier Morrison-Osei. With the score at 1-1 in the first set Xavier retired with an injury to his achilles. Nat won the event at Sevenoaks LTC and Xavier at Park Langley. Congratulations to the Winner – Nate De Mariveles, and good luck with the National Finals at Wimbledon in August.
