Monday 13th March marked the launch of “Captains’ Drinks”; – an event which brought together all Team Captains for a get-together in the Club bar. The evening was hosted by Jason Baker, Head of Teams and Tournaments along with Liz Grove – Ladies’ Captain and Tom Patrick, the newly appointed Men’s’ Captain. Drinks and pizza were provided by the club but, (as there’s no such thing as a free pizza!!), there was some work to be done before the socialising. Jason kicked off some serious discussions about attracting new talent to teams, providing assistance to captains in what can be a very arduous task in assembling teams and promoting our teams to the Club Membership. We wish all our teams the best of luck in the forthcoming summer season.
