Pickleball is an exciting racquet sport that’s popular in America, and is starting to gain traction here in the UK since clubs started to form here in 2011. The sport brings together some of the best elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis, into a fun and exciting game for people of all ages and abilities.
The game is played on half of a tennis court and uses a shorter tennis-style net – players use paddles to hit a plastic ball between one another. You can play as both singles and doubles, and it’s a great way to exercise.
Come along to a Coach-Led Mix-In session where you will get the opportunity to learn how to play Pickleball with a variety of people of all ages on two of our outdoor hard courts.
This session is ideal for those new to the sport and those who have only just started and are still learning the fundamentals – we’ll take you through the basics, the rules, and the scoring, ready to play doubles with your fellow participants.
A qualified coach will be leading the social mix in for all levels, where the coach will allocate groups on-the-day dependant on ability.
Weekly coach-led sessions will take place at the following times:
As an introductory offer, each session costs £3 for members and £5 for non-members.
